Had my coolant light and triple beep when I started this morning. It's just on the lower level at the moment so I'll need to get some more coolant.

Can anyone recommend any for a 1.8t cupra?

Last time I got some it was G12 but looking online people are saying G30 is that ok?
Even halfords says use G30 now, if that's the case I can pick some up on my way home.

Thanks

There just cheap ones mate, got the wire fixed, ripped the plug apart and took the pins out, wired the wire to the pins and shoved it in lol light still didn't go off untill I started driving then it went of itself, as it's the abs sensor I forgot it would need to read the wheel first before going off, got it fixed anyway, mot now moved to Monday at 10am, I'll let you no how I get on.

G30 is supposed to be the same spec as G12 and G12+ so should be ok. I just bought some G12+ from ECP it worked out to just over £5 for a Litre delivered

Wasn't sure what coolant was in there from its last service so I did a coolant flush and replaced it all with the G30 stuff as it was £22 for 5L in halfords.

Also finally got round to changing my front fog light bulbs with my new Philips super right ones.

And most inportantly
I've fixed the problem with the dash backlight staying on permanently. :funk: :1st:
Turns out cheap eBay led curtesy lights cause the issue [:@]

Cars lowered on 40mm springs around massive difference in cornering and much better ride quality compared to standard springs

Good news on the MOT mate, easy fixes then, eh ;)
I replaced the covers due to mine hanging down, I lost my undertray a few years back and am going to replace it :D

Ah ok, yeh great news, I new they needed fixed anyway just didn't no they would pick up on them, it was braking less on one side with the handbrake I new this as one side of the cable is loose and other stretched, and the inner tie rods I have a slight knocking when turning full lock so I new all this before the mot, just glad all my work payed off haha

Rest of the car is filthy from sitting around for over a week gathering dust!

Yeah fitted everything myself mate, just need to get bottom grills and fogs in because the bodyshop forgot to deliver those so picking them up tomorrow. Need to put my LCR splitter back on too which I've sprayed gloss black:)

Bonnet catches? The bonnet has raisers/spacers to lift it. Previous owner did it for some reason. I want to change it to normal but can't find a bolt size for the hinges :(
