So Santa didn't bring me an fr,cupra or even a Leon but I did go from golf pd115 to a golf pd150 mapped to 180/90. Trying to get some ideas for local meets and for anything people wish to travel to they may not be so local.
I've created a thread on some locations and a poll to keep the results. Got rid of the ugly foggy headlights 
Taped the paintwork around the lights, cleaned with Gyeon Glass, polished 3 times with Mothers Mag polish then buffed on Carlack Glass Sealant

I did my last Leon and yeah it does make a huge difference.
I contemplated polishing the headlights on my latest addition but I discovered 2 broken mounts the other day so I think I'll buy some new headlights instead.

Get a decent second hand pair and polish them up, it won’t take long to make them sparkle like new

Grr broke my dog mount today do need to sort out my steering angle sensor so I have esp or stop having a heavy right foot grr

Yeah. I thought about it after posting and realised it had to be machine polished.Used my DAS 6 machine

I opened my bonnet today and found:
One split boost hose (I had a brand new spare in the garage!! Lucky me!!)
A small coolant leak from the coolant flange.
Oil on top of gearbox. I need to do my rocker cover and camshaft half moon gasket but I cant believe these have coated the gearbox. I renewed the whole PCV system last year so not sure where its coming from.
More jobs to do. These mk1 Leon’s are really starting to show their age
I should have left the bonnet closed.
Must be unlucky. Mine is 14 years old and never split a hose or had a leak.
