Whoever wants a Cupra 4x4 1.8t to Import to UK my buddy has one! 105k miles fully loaded including leather, Navi, electric seats.

Delivery is possible!

That is if I don’t buy it first

My insurance company would tell me to jog on, axa won't do import didn't clock that when I signed up... finished with them in Feb so I'll be looking for a good company to go with. Christ I can't even get recovery with them because the car is too old for them..

Out of interest because I'd love to own it....how much?

Not bad imho can’t really find 1.8t 4x4 easily.

Most what I’ve come across for a decent price has over 210k kms. Everything else is priced too high.

Cupra 4 2.8L v6 are the cheapest to get over here and there are more of them, or 1.9tdi 4x4 as well.

Just for reference I got my 4x4 1.8t for 1400 euros with a broken transmission and no Tüv certificate, had to pick it up with a trailer 300miles away. No leather, no Navi, no electric seats, etc and decent rust underneath. Needing quite a few parts.

The car I bought back in good condition fresh Tüv is good for about 5000-5500 euros here in Germany.

think the tdi 4x4 is just as hard to find as a 1.8 4x4 these days. 2.8 cupra4 are everywhere.

I looked in the German Registry book, there are less than 150 1.8t 4x4s left on the road and that was in 2017.

In rarity I would put it on this scale.

Cupra 4 Kompressor (2.8L vr6 supercharged)

1.8t 4x4

1.9tdi 4x4

Cupra 4 2.8L vr6

Working on that massive 2.8 vr6 along with the 4x4 drive system must be a pain in the ass... they crammed the engine into that engine bay without much space to spare.

Pros and cons I would say a 2.8 will have worse overall gas mileage, heavier, and harder to work on, tune ability isn’t the same as a turbo engine, but if you put a turbo on it you’re in the 500club pretty easy. You got 200+hp from factory and a sweet sounding vr6 engine.

Nah just trying to give everyone a perspective of value and also the market out here is priced higher than in the Uk where you can get a Cupra R pretty cheap. Cars seem so much cheaper to buy in the UK than mainland Europe and I don’t know why.

But it only has 201hp... hehehe lots of noise for not so much scoot. Still gorgeous though and sounds great! A slightly tuned 1.8t is faster

Oh yeah I get that and there's no way I could justify the fuel running costs of one anyway.
It's just the sound they make it so addictive plus the obvious bonus of the 4WD set up.

Don't worry I'll just stick to glaring miserably out of the kitchen window at my un-drivable pile of crap for now anyway.

yeah its crossed my mind several times to just buy a donor Cupra R from the uk. price difference is huge.
