I might go 20s on the front yet just have to see. Was 20 quid for the set so definitely worth a try. If i do go 20s on the front there will be a lucky member who gets a pair of 15s with the bolts gratis. Time will tell...

This is gonna be fun.. I am planning on running 9j wheels. With wide arches. So I think a bit of playing with off set and spacers will be needed
If the standard 18" lcr wheels are 8j then yes lol. Dont know wheel codes yet
Standard LCR wheels are 18x7.5j et38

Discovered that my Bailey DV is sticking :-( , ordered oem Bosche unit (Damn expensive too) . Just got to work out the right way to fit it as i have a cold side relocation kit.

I thought I read so.e where that uk lcr wheels where 8j and in Europe they where 7.5. Can't remember what post I read that in

This is what I was talking about with the misconception.
UK didn’t get any different wheels as the rest of the world on the 1m Cupra R. Just some wise tail...
But if anyone wants to check for themselves take off a wheel and look at the back stamped numbers and YellowFR did

I didn't think they would make different width wheels for different country's. It was dome one out side uk who said the UK is lucky as we get 8j.. so guessing he not have a uk spec car to check against and see it's just a tail.
I read it also, and I also believed it and posted it for others at times, until I then found out a few months ago that was wrong. Unfortunately because I would’ve bought some from the UK for the extra half inch

Thought I’d do 2 ‘small’ 5 minute jobs this afternoon on my car- 2 hours later I was done. Lol
The aluminium brake pedal cover decided to drop off last week so thought it’d be a 2 minute job to get back on. How wrong I was. Tried it with the rubber still attached to the pedal, with the rubber off the pedal which was easy but then couldn’t get the thing back on. In the end after some choice words and nearly giving up and just having a permanent rubber pedal cover I managed it.
Also put a couple of new clips on the tailgate interior trim. Ones been rattling round when you open or shut the boot for ages so ended up removing most of the trim to get it out then re attached.
Thai-wronghorse had a full engine out I think in the same time it took me to do these 2 jobs.
