Have you tried slipping some pieces of rubber between the pipe and what ever its knocking on? I had it with the catch can so opened up a bit of 17mm vac pipe and slipped it under

Ok so inspection done....needs new cam and lifters. Getting blow by/popping in airbox.
Was thinking two ways to go... replacing cams/lifters or just chuck a asz block in it and save the risk of any other damaged internal parts.
I know little about TDI 1.9 but I'm learning because I'm going to stick with this car, would the cam issues create any other internal

New key came. Swapped the bottom end over and coded it. Alarm was blaring at first and buttons diddnt work but after a drive and came back they worked!

Not gunna bother as there is raised lettering on them and it'll just go tits up lol

I've got those led side repeaters on my cupra they are good the mk1 does not show a light on dash

Me and a friend spent 4 HR peeling the side strips of the car. Is faded so had to go, I'll post some pics tomorrow of progress. Est 6hr left...then the glue...another 2hr then polish...it's black so 10hr lol. Not the best time with a cupra but the end result should be amazing. Think I'm going to keep this cupra TDI.
