Just got back from the test drive so here's what was done.
Forge front to rear short shift set to almost max
Forge side to side short shift set to almost max
42Draft solid bracket bushes
Recon'd bracket
Darkside cable end solid bushes
What's it like? As Thai said it's notchy as hell, shifting into 1st or reverse isn't a good feeling, just means more care needed which I'm okay with.
Shifting is a lot more direct and each shift is a flick of the wrist away. It turns heel n toe into a joy rather than an exercise in patience and faith/luck.
If this wasn't a car headed for track days (and commuting when the weather is too crap for a bike) then I'd back off the throw.
Absolutely, I'll pretty much give anything a go on the car these days to save money and like you say it's satisfying to know you've done the work yourself.

Removed my strut brace so I could finally trim down enough to get the bonnet strut to fit back on
Cleaned and painted the area
Had to replace one of the rivnuts as it came loose and pulled out when I removed brace but new on installed and all back together

Finally took my front S off and tarted it up some. Not perfect but looks a load better compared to before

Is your Leon a respray or did it come in white? It's one of the few cars that a white paint job looks really good on.
