what size speaker back of GTi

What is standard size of the speaker you find in the back of a seat ibiza gti 95? They look like little 6x9 but i don't know the official size.

leave them in,totally transformed by better head unit,i had revo kev in my boot looking for a sub when we fitted a new HU,early speakers much better than the face lift gti's

i have a better head unit, the speakers are my next target..i don't want anything hugh but if i see something cheap i want to know the size so i can pick them up.

if you want decent sounds matey, get yourself a sub, doesnt have to be big and a a small amp, wire it in rather than speakers, use decent front 6 1/2 inchers up front and you wont believe the quality compared to the sh!t standard speakers and anything esle you might put in the back.

To answer the original question, the rear speakers are 6x4's - which is a dead common OE size on VAG stuff. I seem to recall there's not too many decent aftermarket options these days - Kenwood do some and JBL also. Alpine used to do some (my Scirocco came with a set in the front door pockets and another set in the rear shelf mounts), but i think they're discontinued...
