Just sold this for £3350
One of the best engine bays going stage 2, 4 new tyres, arm.rest. looks, sounds and drove great. Got 900 views and only a handfull of calls. Granted i only advertised it on this site but thought it'll fetch far more. My mate paid over 5k a year ago! Value seem to have dropped massively.

As a rule of thumb though aren't modded ones sold for less.

Milage is 30k higher.

Thanks for all comments though a good insight into the market.

The market for Mk1 Cupra's and Cupra R's has plummeted you can put it up for 5k but you won't get it, 3.5k realistically is what it's worth.

I had my cupra for sale a few weeks back, mint with 68k modified but immaculate, people wanted to pay 3k and less, so I told them to foxtrot Oscar and I kept it, they are just not worth alot except to the right person, but to me it's worth alot, never let me down and there's nothing out there that I enjoy driving quite so much. Ill keep mine till it ceases to function

I've been tracking a few cupra r's on Pistonheads for 4 & 5k for ages and they just are not selling they have been on there for months... Sorry to say but you'll prob have to let it go for 3.5k being honest mate.

Damn wish I had money!! Will be in the market shortly sadly will be looking at financing though, unless you fancy a swap with a fiesta 1.4tdci 70hp!!!! It's a beast :p

Bets of luck with the car sale though, looks stunning

I recently spent over £4k on an immaculate 53 plate platinum grey LCR ... Same mileage pretty much. From what was on the market at the time I'm more than happy with what I got for my money.

My previous car was going for £3550 until the buyer pulled out, then I struggled to get any interest and ended up letting it go for a lot less. That was a mint last run Clio 182 with factory fitted recaros, low mileage and every reciept ...

It just takes time to find the right buyer sometimes.

Hi would you be interested in a fr diesel 55 plate with 79k 0n the clock.

They are old cars now tho, and high tax bands only people who know what they are will commit to such a car, it is annoying as mine is mint too it seems scandalous to let them go for such little money, have you considered keeping it, aside of the tax (but what isn't high these days) they are not that expensive to run driven reserved they return bloody good mpg considering.

I agree but it is also the fact driving in and out of highways construction sites I am going to scuff up splitters and during muddy months the inside is going to get shitted up.

IMO is worth 4k, nice looking car.. Few months ago I bought mine, 04, 1 owner, 46k,stage 2, paid 5.6k for it.. If in no hurry to sell put it up for sale and see what interest you get.

You could always get yourself a cheap winter snotter for the dirty work stuff in the muddy months then just alternate the two would save you saying goodbye to it... Just throwing ideas out there
