Think the boost controller may make sense for when it goes in for service cause then I can set it back to standard and hopefully Seat wont notice :)

Trouble is I have to wait whilst its all done, approx 4.5 hours!!!

I was booked in last Jan for the chip:eek: But they didn't have the code for my ECU and then a bloody truck hit my R!!
If I wasnt getting the controller I would go the Revo route;)

Dan

it's exactly 1376kg

and the spare wheel is 21kg

so 1351kg without it.

and then add me in as the driver instead of the average 75kg that Seat allow for, and hey presto its back to 1376kg ;) :D

Turbovet : have you had your LCR on a weigh bridge then ?

no but two french papers put their test LCR on weoght bridge and found exactly the same wieght ! 1376kg !

I put only my spare wheel on the balance and it was 21kg.

1376Kg on a 225bhp Leon-R = 164bhp/tonne
1376Kg on a 280bhp Leon-R = 203bhp/tonne

1119Kg on a 156bhp Ibiza = 139bhp/tonne
1119Kg on a 210bhp Ibiza = 187bhp/tonne

Now for some really fun comparisons:-

1376Kg on a 350bhp IHI'd Leon-R = 254bhp/tonne
1119Kg on a 350bhp IHI'd Ibiza = 313bhp/tonne :D

Putting it another way:-

to achieve 313bhp/tonne for example:
225bhp Leon-R down to 719Kg
280bhp Leon-R down to 895Kg
156bhp Ibiza down to 498Kg
210bhp Ibiza down to 671Kg

Get a 350bhp Ibiza @ 1119Kg down to 950Kg would raise its power to weight ratio to 368bhp/tonne :)

Get stripping those cars... :laff:
