Wheel alignment or Tracking?

Having 4 wheel alignment done next week, chap knew there are not many adjustments but said the same as you lot about lining all the wheels up together.

I clicked on the link earlier in this thread & it is what I need to get done as the inside of my front tyres were both down to the thread by about an inch £30 seems better than 2 new tyres every 5 or 6 months !!!!

adam i dont think youll be getting a full 4 wheel laser alignment done for 27.50 matey??
had mine done at backdraft motorsport, took 45 mins and was 70quid mate... got a full before and after printout of all asjustments made, camber, castor toe etc etc
27.50 is the standard price for a tracking check/alteration..... just make sure thats what there not doing for you mate, you should get a printout for 4 wheel alignment.
if it is then, i wann know where this is for that price
Well the chap said the same as you guys said about things not being adjustable but being able to align the front wheels to the backs to make all 4 parallel.....and that is £27.50

Thats excatly the reason I was told it was £27.50
I'm not sure I'll get a printout of the non adjustable bits but if that bit of paper's going to cost me a extra £40 I can live with that
dunno didnt ask alex tbh, had it done same time as quaife was fitted as they had the subframe out... anyways dunt matter really does it.

just why would there be 40quid difference, and from a reputable company like backdraft if it was the same adjustments being made?
as i said, 4 wheel alignment is just that. aligning the 4 wheels. Its not a full set up including camber etc.

you have to be clear and ask if its simply alignment or include cmaber adjustment.

Getting mine done this dinnertime, they provide before & after print outs.
Free check with £25 for the front & £25 rear or £40 for all if any toe/camber adjustments are required (I clarified all that is involved when I rang!!!!)

Just paid £40 plus the dreaded from Elite in Reading got a full colour print out as well. To be honest I haven't a clue what its supposed to tell me ! I just wanted the steering wheel to line up straight. They seemed like nice chaps and they needed the car for an hour.
Sorry to hijack, but i had the same questions along with one more.I fitted coilovers and got the 4 wheel alignment done, but now i have lowered the car another few mm and added front and rear spacers, should i get the alignment done again?
