Just did a search but although i can find loads of info on tyres, i cant on wheels

I have found some alloys but not to sure what i need

Thanks.....have found 3 sets I like just need to put them against the car now to see which look best

the ones I have found it says are suitable for a cupra R.....luckily I live pretty near Rochford tyres so easy just to pop in there....

I tried them when I was looking a few days ago as I'd seen some of their deals on eBay, they didn't have anything in at the time:(

based in Essex IIRC

be interested to see what you come up with:)

yes, I am about 20 mins from them, so tis easier just to go up there, and put wheels against the car....

there are a couple of other good wheel places near there as well

3 choices atm......my plan is to buy some then send my originals off to be powder coated....then I have two choices dependant on my mood lol...

does anyone know if 19's go straight on? or do they rub

hello from scotland i need new tyres for my LCR so was thinking of new wheels and tyre package was interested in rs6 alloys as i have seen on a cupra, not the r. is there anyone who can confirm or deny they fit with brembo calipers also they are listed as 8j is there any rubbing or scuffing with the wider alloy not wantig to make expensive mistake as skidz in falkirk want £595 FITTED with khumo tyres are they any good would compromise on handeling a bit as long as they last more than 9000 miles

i have 8x18 OZ super leggera and they just clear the caliper by a few mm. Would doubt if the Rs6 replica would clear without a spacer. If you can afford it I would upgrade the tyres to Toyo T1-r as they offer far more grip

8j are fine with a 10mm spacer as Andy says, the handling isn't affected either although if you can afford it I'd highly recommend Goodyear Eagle GSD3 tyres. Spacers available from all good motorfactors and Forgemotorsport do them too

thanks for all the info, i won't be going down the spacer route as i am led to believe that this leads or can lead to bearing problems, more expense ,also local garage owner and race/rally driver says to stay well clear of them due to stresses on the longer wheel nuts.
i must say that i have the GSD3 tyres on the car at the moment and they really have worked a treat would def have another set but at £112 PER TYRE fitted and only 9000 miles for the set.I thought a tyre wheel combination would be a good chance to change the look of the car and replace the rubber even if it is a compromise for handeling.Could be handy as i need a limiter on the car to help keep a clean license.
toyo proxes, are they not soft compound like yokos?mate used to rip yokos of his astra in weeks.
anyone got a magic tyre that costs buttons grips like s### to fur and lasts for years as thats the one for me.
thanks to all
