Hi Guys, due to the snow earlier this year, and some arrogant woman forcing me into the curb, my wheels need refurbing.

However, they're practically the same colour as my car, plat grey, so want to make sure they get the same coloue / finish. Does anyone know of a decent refurb person / company in the Kent area / Bromley ish or somewhere? I'm willing to travel and leave my car with them for a few days if need be, but a mobile guy would be great.

Or is there anyone on here that does as a job?

great stuff, thanks for these, once i get the wheels done I’ll be asking about detailers, think its time I treat the old girl to some cosmetic therapy.

When I worked for Vw we used lepsons, they always came back spot on. Failing that AB Crush near Dover do a good job I hear although will be needing to pop back there and question their "touch up and buff" technique for a keying I had lol

I drive past this all the time, didn’t know they did wheel refurbs? Good to know though, will try and get a quote and report back

Yeah Chris, get a quote please, Biggin Hill would be ideal for me. Definitely wanting mine done soon.

What sort of price DK and was you happy as banana man had his done there and found runs in the paint

Mine were perfect mate :D
I've got a mate who is an agent for them, he takes the tyres off, they pick up and drop the wheels to him, he then re fits the tyres, new valves and balences them.
I had mine done about 4 years ago and I paid about £55 per wheel, I think the price is dependent on how damaged the wheel is, mine were perfect when I sent them off and came back even better :D I was very happy with them.
Spit & Polish also did JonJays Diamond cut faces.

Rattle can from Halfrauds. If you have them blasted and smoothed it should be quite easy.

I dont know if i could bring myself you use a rattle can of Halford Paint on them, I would feel dirty and pikeyish i think, or would some say DIY wheels are acceptable?

Would DIY'ing my with with a rattle can from Halfrauds make is extremely difficult to have them redone properly later down the line?
