Hi all,

have been told by my garage that the steering vibration i am experiencing is due to 2 buckled wheels,-bugger...
I am looking at some wheels listed on a well known auction site as being for an Ibiza 6j model which i think is the current one, they are 7j wide 17" and pcd of 100mm so in my mind should fit with my current 225 17" tyres onto a 2004 TDI 150 sport? Any thoughts/suggestions appreciated,my only worry is the PCD at 100mm,all other recent seats seem to be 112?

Regards

The continuing saga of my wheels.i decided against the prev mentioned ones and to keep things simple (or so i thought) i would fit some leon cupra 16" wheels,as these were the size originally fitted to the TDI sport? They certainley were on my previous V5 with the 5 spoke wheels.
They came off a 2002 Leon Cupra so are the multi spoke type, they fit fine until you go onto full lock when the rear of the rim where it meets the tyre rubs on the arm from the steering rack to the track rod end...
I cant fathom this out as i thought Seat 7j x16 rims from a leon would fit a treat, any ideas much appreciated!
If anyone is still running a tdi sport on the original wheels could they confirm wheel and tyre sizes if possible?

Many thanks

Dave

Just to let you know the outcome,in case anyone else has had this problem,it appears the garage used by the last owner had fitted a replacement rack but had fitted the track rod ends on the wrong sides (lh/rh) -they are cranked which is why they make em different, and then re tracked it which covered it up until i fitted the correct size wheels,(when i bought the car it had larger, wider wheels with a different offset)-which i liked but which it turns out were buckled, hence the swap.
Took a bit of puzzling out!
