When do I need to MOT my car

03 lcr registered 30th june 2003, do I have to do it 30th june 2006 or can i do it sooner as im thinking if any probs warranty might cover it.

You can MOT it a month before it's due date and get 13 months MOT.

You have to remember to ask them to date the MOT accordingly otherwise they'll make it valid for 12 months. Got caught out by this a few years ago on a previous car

Not anymore, now it's all computerised they just print it out with the date your current MOT ( or not ) expires.

The MOT certificate you get ow is just to make you feel better, it's got no official status.
