efr 6758 here i come
hi i was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction for finding the color of my car.ive looked in engine bay but to be honest dont no what looking for? also has anyone ever sprayed there sideskirts themselves an if so what did you do... someone stole one of mine last week an have got one from scrap yard for 60quid which i thought was steep but better then seat price.... anyway is my color code letters or numbers an where do i find it? cheers guys....

its in the boot under the spare wheel going from memory, or on the front page of the manual! It'll say a code and then have the colour next to it.

On the build sticker, which is under the carpet in the boot and also on the inside page of the service book. Looks like this

Build_Sticker_Owner_Manual.jpg

In the example above (not mine, of course) the engine code is BAP, the gearbox is FGE and the paint code is L041 which is Black

Where does it say "ebony", on which bit of paper?

There is a VAG paint code for Ebony Pearl Effect which is Z9W (will read LZ9W on the build sheet), but I have no idea if this was ever applied to a Leon.

Did you find a sticker in the boot, under the carpet (mine is on the left of the boot, on the boot floor not in the wheel well, but yours might just be under the spare wheel?)

It is ebony black and it's a flat black not pearl, LCR and very few LC's were Ebony, most LC's were black magic

Was a rumour some late LCR's 05 plate were a metallic black.....this may have been an FR+ mistaken for LCR though

Code should be in the boot under the carpet on the white sticker as mentioned above (or in the handbook)

alternatively pop into a dealer and ask for a spec sheet on your car. Will say on there, along with all sorts of other stuff!

help please

can anyone help me i need to no the colour code for a bronze leon cupra i have checked all the usual places and cant find it anywere can anyone give me the bronze colour code please thanks guys :)

Done some more digging. Does this look more like it?

Although it doesn't give the colour in that thread, it was referenced by another thread which named the colour as Mandarin, which is S2P.

There is another similar colour in the VAG list, but I'm not sure if it was ever applied to Leons: S2N, Natural Copper. The colour manufacturers site I use for colour reference says it was used from 1996-1999, so probably not ever applied to Leons. Mandarin was used from 1999 to 2002.

Im also trying to find my paint code The sticker in the boot isn't there and I don't have the service book so i guess i need to go to the dealer right? or is it on any the plate in the engine bay?
