hmm if u want a bit more power you could try and get a 1.6 or even one of the early 1.8's they might insure you on that as no GTI or cupra badge

Like the custom GTi mats! Where they from and do they come in red? I love my 8v to bits, not the quckest thing on the streets, but definately the most fun for the money it costs

mate just go for the cuprasport gti, i bought mine when i was 18, for £3000 and was only 800 to insure it..

Thanks! - I think they look the biz too! Not the quickest thing - especially after a Mk2 MR2, but the financial savings have won me over!

im sure one model has. the only reson im getting a new ibiza is because some1 went up the back of mine on thursday and write it off!!!!!!!!!

my 1.4 has the cupra bucket seats interior, and pattern and it was factory fitted! its got full electric parts and central locking etc...its a 1999 v plate

The voice of reason it seems, better than a 1.4 really economical, cheap to insure and very nippy. Problem is they are quite rare.

Yeah they are hard to come by, most people that own them tend to keep them until they have galactic milages too.I was lucky to find mine with only 56k on it and one owner but took months to find and had to travel a 200 mile round trip to get it

I beat ya 600mile round trip to get my cupra, road trip to wales baby! ahhh the memories
