503.01 and tis 0w/30 slx now re badged as castrol edge(loads of specific ones etc) e.g mine variable now bmw LL04 from LL01

503.01 is the biz for the R

I use the Triple R from car lube longlife 503.01 spec 0W 30 fully synthetic about £25 + vat for 5 litres. A bargain for that spec & i have always used the Triple R 5w 40 so i reckon its gr8 !

Do you think if I get the dealer to put my Motul 15w-50 oil in the dealer will actually use it (as opposed to using Synta and nicking it for his Golf 1.8T???).

Its so much easier than doing it myself, but always wonder whether they really use your oil if you provide it. Would you trust them??

I've often wondered that as well... I guess you only have their word for it too.

hmmmmm all a head spin ....... i have a cupra r (2003) 60+miles and doing a full oil change!! sooooo if i pop in 5w40 or 10w40 full synthetic oil..... would this be ok?????
