I've been using that in my 2011 Audi S4 since 2013 and my wife's 2015 VW Polo 1.2TSI since 2019, ie main dealer warranties and service plans had expired.Mobil 1 ESP 5W30 fully synthetic in my Leon 1.5tsi every time !
EA888 Engine 2 L needs 5,7 L including change of filter. I use 5w-30 spec vw 50400.I have a 2L tsi dsg 190 and it states the car will take 5.7L of oil which isn't what i expected, is this accurate?
Also which grade do i need? Is it 5w30?
Looking at the DKZA 2.0 engine - 5.7L is listed on the data I can see also. More than my TDI!I have a 2L tsi dsg 190 and it states the car will take 5.7L of oil which isn't what i expected, is this accurate?

So 0-30 is somewhere in between?
Its not as cold as Sweden here in England so maybe I'll go for 5w30 too.0w-30 is thinner when it is very cold outside as it is in nothern Sweden. I live in south SE so i use 5w-30.
The 190tsi - is an EA888 gen3B - the B being important differentiator - it runs the Budack cycle (similar to miller cycle) rather than the otto cycle - so an efficiency orientated design, not just a de-tuned GTI engine! along with a host of other changes in the name for economy.EA888 Engine 2 L needs 5,7 L including change of filter. Yes you'll need 6L.Any real differences to 0w20 and 0w/5w 30 other than increase in emissions?
Thanks for your replies btw.
Also seems I'll have to buy 6L minimum.
Interesting, i wonder how this engine will sit with a remap, several places have quoted between 250-260hp on stage 1.Engeneering Explained regarding the "Budack cykle" for you who want to know .
