Whiteline front arb / droplinks question

Looking to purchase the 24mm adjustable whiteline ARB to solve 2 issues and help the old girl handle a bit better.
1. It loops under driveshaft so will solve the current issue I have with the stock ARB hitting the driveshaft (due to lowering)
2. I can drop the front a little more to even up the stance

My question is, what droplinks to get?

The whiteline anti roll bar is designed to fit the standard drop links so you’ll be fine. Does your coilover manufacturer require you to use shorter drop links? The bigger company’s use standard length drop links not sure about others tho. Just get some from euro car parts. Whiteline do make there own adjustable drop links having said that.

I believe so, depending on how low but it's not exactly clear...

I've just done this exact mod on my AUQ, but with a TT ARB. The standard droplinks are at least an inch too long, but i managed to fit them temporarily. The ARB is pushed hard into the wishbones currently.

Car is lowered a fair bit, -15mm from the Cupra R coilovers, -10mm Powerflex top mounts, and then dropped around 40mm.

Ive got some JOM adjustable ones and i will be fitting them around the 285mm mark to start with. But will let you know how it goes.

@Nizza told me he needed 300mm*, but he had other track focused steering adjustments he said.

Ok thanks. Interesting as the vmaxx ones are between 115 and 170mm...

The standard TT links are ~335mm bolt to bolt, and as I say they’re At least an inch too long.

I think vmaxx ones are for the hoop ARB style with shorter drop links.

I had 280mm ones on the car, they were too short

Ordered some from Euros from the numberplate and they were 325 or 335mm can't remember exactly

So had some shortened, sleeved and tig welded to 300mm

These are for sale if they would help anyone

Think my arb is tt but don't know as it came.on the car

Interesting, I’ll set them to 300mm and go from there!

I was running 10 deg castor so put the driveshaft really far forward hence the clashes.

I think 280 - 300 should work.

Any idea on the length of the whiteline adjustable droplinks?

Good pics, really useful thanks man.

No worries pal. One of those elements that took me awhile to get my head around being a novice. There’s almost no pics like the above to be found online lol.

Apparently you’re supposed to tighten them and sh*t while on the ground to avoid preloading the ARB but I didn’t have the time. There’s a video on YT about it though

My droplinks atttch to the ARB and wishbone so now it kind of makes sense why the standard droplinks should work with the whiteline ARB. I guess the short ones above are meant for this kind of set up, VS the ones that you have @Connor H
