wich downpipe to LCR and where to buy?

Hello

I have a LCR and I already have a bastuk mufler but I want to buy the full exaust system.

I want a downpipe and I want to "say goodbye" to my cat.

I am living in London do you know any shop or any online shop where to buy these?

And give me your opinions about the one that I should buy.

Do a search on blue flame , they populer exhaust system for lcr

You can get an apr downpipe for your LCR but at nearly 1k its dam expensive. pipewerx also do them i think but not sure on price. Have a look for blueflame as well, i think you have to buy the full system as i don't think they sell the downpipe seperately.

You can get a magnex decat pipe of ebay for around £70

I have the full blueflame turbo back system and am happy enough with it

correct! but with the blueflame & pipewerx downpipes you have the metal race cat as the OE cat doesn't fit. the original DP splits into two before the cat and i seem to remember the APR doing the same.
the APR version is just shy of a grand but the pipewerx jobby is just over three hundred quid..................... you do the maths!

The downpipe and cat would be 2 seperate parts,

Why bother with the decat, having a 100 cell race cat is pretty close to having no cat, your not going to see any big power gains. you'll probably get a few pops and bangs and the odd flame though. Also be a pain when it come to mot time.

Could be wrong but doesn't one of the lambda sensors have to be mapped out to stop the ecu throwing fault codes

I'm interested in the 'LEON CUPRA R 1.8 TURBO EXHAUST MAGNEX DECAT XCRPS9'...
I have a standard LCR set up apart from forge dv and bmc cda filter, so what, if any power gains and/or noise differences would I be expecting if i fitted one of these please?

I hav the Magnex decat altho it does bring the second lamda fault light up on the dash my car goes like stink round the bed room,so much power is held back from the cat,U can get it mapped out just costs but well worth it.or hav a vag-com or scanner to turn the light out.
