Wierd "clicking" when driving in wet

Hi all,

Iits happened since i first bought the ibiza, but it is very annoying.

When driving in wet conditions theres a clicking/tapping noise that seems to come from the drivers side door!?

Im not sure excatly what it is but does someone know anything else on this problem?!

could be the window wiper swithes doing their work

Yep i get this noise too. If you push against the door card around where the switches are it should stop for a bit.

I think i might try to play around with the door card to make it fit better. Mabye some sound proofing??

yeah but it only happens when the road is wet, or its raining....i donno....

it is the rain bouncing off of the mirror covers I reckon

I have noticed the same ticking/tapping noise when driving when it's raining and the missus reckons it seems to come from the mirror area

yeah thats what i thought, or possibly the rain coming from the mirrors hitting the edge of the window/seals bit. so its a common thing not just me going crazy...

Guess i have to live with it!
