i have the cupra 180t, i have a standard panel filter, just wondering if i get a piper cross or k&n will it change anything, my dumpvalve i have on is very quite, no whoosh, its a bailey one.

Can't see a panel filter making much noise tbh mate, unless you drill some holes in the bottom section of the airbox. Search 'drilled airbox'

When I put a pipercross panel filter on my LCR it did make a bit more noise, but nothing major. If it's loads of noise your after then an open cone filter is the way to go.
It'll make more noise if you drill holes in the box.......kind of defeats the object or a sealed box tho.
