those leather seats look nice but the thing that would put me off is the lack of airbags and bodging it by putting a resistor in the circuit, how would you feel if you were involved in a crash, doesnt have to be your fault and the airbags didnt deploy and one of your passengers/yourself was seriously injured or killed???????? afterall airbags are there for a reason and i certainly wont be changing things like the steering wheel for one that doesnt have an airbag.

@stuart86 i hope you have declared your mods to your insurance company, and the fact that the new seats dont have airbags??? if so im interested to what they said about it???

i drive a 1967 vw beetle with the fuel tank in the bonnet and lap belts. air bags are a pile of cr*p what do more harm then good and for the insurance, my seats would be back to mormal before an insurance or police came, but there again i dont drive my car wondering if im going die!! just my opinion tho...

what complete and utter bollocks.you're upside down in a ditch, the fire brigade are cutting you out of the wreck and you are going to change your seats?
you may be the best/safest driver on the road, but there's a lot of people that can't drive for ****. I don't drive around thinking i am going to die,but when it comes to insurance fraud i tend to cover my ass and not post about it on a car forum.just my opinion though ;)

oh rite ok so i take it you have removed the airbags out of your car then???? have you ever been in a head on collision??? well my sister has and if she didnt have an airbag then she would have been chewing on steering wheel, but she had an airbag so got away relatively unhurt, i suppose you think things like seatbelt pretensioners are a bad idea aswell??? hell why dont you remove the three point seatbelts in your car and go back to lap belts see how you fare when some tw@ crashes into you head on, me personally i think i will stick with the airbags good chance someday they may save my life after all that is what the motor industry has spent millions of pounds developing them for. so what is your argument for why airbags are unsafe?????
