it should work.....but

imo it looks abit chav, especially the 7 colour changing bit.

you will need to drill and tap into the inlet manifold and run that to your gauge and then wire it up to your lights.

or you can manufacture a spacer that sits on the maf sensor and get the pressure from there.

yes that will work, as siad need to tap into a boost pipe. the red on that gauge is a nice match to the standard dials, i think you can also hardwire it o permanant red as well. i fitted this gauge to bunnin's fr 20vt and looks nice above the radio in a din blanking plate

i do think its looks a little chavish but reason for choice is that its white with grey print and you can make it red like oem dash also can't find anything that even nearly matches the oem dials, bit worried about fitting :-S to say i'm not good with things like this lol

the wiring isnt to bad i use the ilumination for the cd player and the earth off of that. easy when mounting it in the dash above where cubby hole was

i used an autoleads din blanking plate and cut 52mm hole in the centre of it. clips in great and the plastic din matches the radio colour as well

Hi all, got my gauge but oh my god what a pain to fit really strugling i have got letrics working fine but i just cant get the pipe from engine bay into the car how does everyone else do it? also the thought of tapping into inlet manifold is a big concern to me so think i'm going to do it into the pipe that goes into the inlet manifold on left hand side of engine bay will that work?

rubber gromet on pasengers side of ngine bay just behind the bonnet stay two grommet one behind each other. then remove dash side pannel and feel inside behind the dsh for thick sound proofing, pull this back and you should feel the pipe. then route it behind the dash to behind your gauge, you having it in the dash above radio?

the actual boost on a tdi will travel into the gauge if its mechanical and the way a tdi vibrates it makes bit of noise in the gauge, so i have heard
