window tints?

does any one know whats going off with the window tints in england, what the legal limit, some people say 70% light through, and some people say only if standerd, please inform

As has been mentioned, you are not aloud to tint the front side windows at all now, as most come with a slight tint anyway from factory (legal limit).

HOWEVER, I paid close to £300 to have all of my windows tinted (not the cheapy film, but an expensive spray/baked on procedure).
The side front/rear windows tinted a dark smoke, then the rear window even darker. The tints have a lifetime warranty too!

Honestly, with society the way it is nowadays you'd think (you'd HOPE) the Police have far more important issues to deal with, than someones car window having a tint slightly darker than 30% !!
... And I WILL tell them that if they do stop me. :censored:

tbh £300 is a bit ott. Spray or not, most people pay about half that and get a lifetime warranty anyway so film all the way for me

i go wi film for the fact that if car gets broke into it keeps all the glass together, safety and security 1st, but i am nor botherd how much the mods are so long as the improve the car
