good stuff mate, found the N75 valve after looking under the car, need to tap into one of the wires from the WMI controller but the N75 has a red/white + black/white wire, any idea which one i would need to tap into, will it matter as soleniods arent usually polarity concious are they?

thanks alot for your help mate

how'd you get on with the kit owen ?

everything pretty straight forward or is a complete nightmare ?

reasonably straight forward, got a bit puzzled trying to find the injector wire and also how to wire the controller into the fail safe but turns out i will need a fail safe relay to do this, going to have a hunt on ebay tonight...

should get it all done and dusted tomorrow as 90% of the work is done including nozzle calibration etc.

Al had said you were having issue's with the injector duty wiring. Did you suss it out eventually or are you still trying to get the back of it ?

90% sure i know the correct wire but just want to be certain before i fire it up, spoke to the guy in USA and he told me its the odd colour out on one of the injectors so i will try and get verification from someone else first

It would make sense to go with the odd wires.

surely they'd use the same coloured one for +ve and earth's on all injectors, so that leave's two more. You can only get it wrong once then !!

Is there no way you can wire in a volt meter to the wires and have the meter where you can see it and take the car for a spin. Surely the signal voltage in the wire would change as the car get's driven up the rev's and gear's .

You could piggyback a wire from the odd wire out of the engine bay and into the car thru the window and just connect the voltmeter to it and to an earth point.

bit of messing around but it might help confirm the wire before you start really cutting into your injector loom etc.

yeah with the wiring you dont need to cut into them, there is a wiring tap which when removed only leaves a pinhole so if i get it wrong then its not the end of the world.

what you up to

I will come doon the morn wi my TB pipe, VAGCOM and lapper the morn min, get the logs done and figure oot the computering part.

Some timing pull going on, but low intake temperatures with the S3 core, A/C Core removed and Twintercooler. Outside temp was 19oC.

Now off out to fill up the tank with some Methanol and Distilled Water to see the difference after I sample my latest creation of Parsnip, Carrot, Brocolli, Garlic, Butternut Squash and Marmalade soup.

Will force feed some to Owen also....

yeah dan that is without WMI, still trying to get verification on injector wires/ colours

allen was saying you have etka/??????? can you have a look to see if you can get info on injector 4 wire colours/location

PLEEAAASSSSEEEEE

As a start, there should be this connector on your main engine wiring harness circled in red, I believe the injector spur cable comes off this 8 pin connector to feed the four injectors.

I can tell you the wiring colours soon for each injector

EDIT: above is correct
