Hi guys,

done a quick search before anyone comes out with that!

I'm putting 5mm spacers each side on the fronts with standard wheels. Will I need longer bolts for this small a spacing?

cheers

apparently the standard bolts are only just long enough with no spacers, so id say you would need longer bolts.

thanks guys. just need the spacers to get the camber right really. will look into longer bolts.. bill how much do you sell them for cos I've already got the spacers

good to know. Can always try and fit them first I guess. which spacers is it you guys have? I managed to pick up some H&Rs off ebay.

wheel spacers for camber?
you've lost me.

bolts £1.75 each plus vat & carriage

check your wheels spigot ring chamfer and whats left on the hub spigot to decide if there's proper engagement or not.

I would never run std wheel bolts on 5mm spacers... std bolts barely long enough from the factory.

the top of the wheel is too close to the suspension at the moment to adjust the camber to where it should be I was told when I took it in for the camber/tracking, so they recommended 3mm+ spacers. I hope thats the solution anyway lol

standard wheels. coilovers. changing the coilovers this weekend for a different set though so we shall see if that makes much difference as to how close the wheel is to the suspension.. at the moment the camber is positive and tyre is still nearly touching the suspension somehow! so hoping spacers will sort stuff out whatever, I know theres not much adjustment in the camber, but its out at the moment and could be a lot better.
