These points are quite right and

the FR mirrors are more curved (like on the alfa 156's/159) Cupra are more square.

MINE ARNT SQUARE ON MY CUPRA, THERE THE TEAR DROP ONES

went to look at them yesterday, the FR 05 plate and the Cupra 04 plate, the only difference apart from the £800 fofr the newer car was the colour of the car and the interior on the Cupra, didnt have white dials or the titanium surround but basically the had exactly the same body kits, oh and wheels were different too, prefer the FR ones.

Also got an insurance quote and was pleasantly suprised adding the wife with one claim and its still only what I pay for my modded Vectra, so may end up with one around Feb time now, gotta get xmas by first......

I think it was maybe the later 04 plates that got the white dials, I dont know.... have seen a few cupra's with the white dials and titanium surrounds so must just be a phase thing.

white with red and i dont like the red. when the engine is on are the dials lite up

i likek the red, bit different, especialy as my car is red, so why didnt they just call mine a fr

wouldnt that make it somthing it isnt, WHEN ITS BETTER THAN AN FR ANYWAY LOL

In my LCR high speed bumps need to be taken slowly and even then can still catch. Lower speed bumps are fine. Some multi story car parks can cause the front end to scrape too if you go too fast.
The FR+ bumper is the same as the LCR, but the suspension may be slightly higher?

I have to take speed bumps and car park ramps very slowly or I scrape the front! It's the same height off the ground as the LCR from what I can see, struggle to get the trolley jack under there when it's on the driveway!

iF The FR+ is registered as just an FR, what happens with regards to insurance claims if the bumpers are damaged?

I mean, lets say you have a regular FR, hit something and the bumpers are totally pulverised and therefore discarded before it even gets to the garage. Could you say you had FR+ bumpers and get the insurance to spring for em?:cartman:

I've declared the bodykit and wheels as a modification with Greenlight Insurance, who give me a like for like cover. Adrian Flux were just giving me standard car insurance and were 5quid cheaper but I like the peace of mind of having everything covered properly! Speak to Neil at Greenlight, top bloke!

Have you read any of the 3 pages of posts?
They Are the same except the FR is newer, so if we had to argue over which one is better, we'd be wasting our time. AND STOP SHOUTING

i was joking, but just stupid how mine has the tear drop mirrors and white dials, as i dont know any other cupra, they have the square mirrors unsure bout dials,

The Cupra down at the dealers here is exactly the same as the FR except for the white dials and titanium trim, it has the tear drop mirrors, exactly the same body kit, I think it is just luck of the draw.

Are they at wills & ellis mate You would be better of going to teds in Barnsley or jennings in Mboro much friendlier.

not sure the name of the dealer bud, its the one up by the Total garage, in Poppleton..... been looking around the country really as I think I want either a red or black one although the silvery/blue colour does look oretty cool.
