mmmmmmmm the reason for the washer jets it to stop glare for other road users! so cant see the rules being any different for aftermarket lights but hey this wouldnt stopme putting them on without them anyway!

still have my spare wheel, the tailpipes just go either side of it. I had to swap the rear valance over to the ibiza sport valance (with no cut outs in it for exhaust) as the cutout in my fr exhaust was too near cente of car and spare wheel well would have been in the way at other side.

Does the offside pipe cross near the rear beam before coming backwards? (ie round the 'front' of the spare wheel well)

if your pulled for somethin like that they normally tell you to go for an mot and present a valid cirtificate within 7 days, so i just take to the guy who has em on his car lol, but there other things there more warry off ie small number plates

yet to be pulled tho i want a set fitted to mine when they steamed up but cant afford bigger turbo and hid headlamps

The pipe runs from the cat and splits before the spare wheel well with one pipe running to each side. hope that answers your question

sorry mate, seemed to have nicked your thread and gone a bit off topic, not my cup of tea but very neat job indeed by the looks of things, and unique which is rare, haven't seen another MK4 with that setup before. good job

dont worry about it mate, no problem. I was expecting some mixed opinions on duplex, always liked the oval cupra exhaust but didnt want to look like i'm pretending to have a cupra so went for the duplex to be a little different.

i know what you mean mate i kept my twin pipes, instead of goin cupra styleee!
