I don't think so, i'm gonna try adjusting it tonight. I only turned it a couple of times as i never heard the rattling of the spring.
Tried adjusting it and it still makes the chattering sound. I assume that's what it's supposed to sound like?
Dunno man, maybe Forge can tell us, usually chatter is compressor stall which is bad for your turbo. I'm going out today to try mine out.
Well I went out for a drive this morning, and I'm happy to report that I have nothing but blow-off sound, no chatter at all, sounds great! Perhaps it's because I have a larger turbo and am running 20PSI, but even on part throttle I get 'tssshhhhh' noise, no chatter. It is louder than my Bailey DV30 so I'm keeping it!!!
I'm hitting 20psi as well but definatly getting the same chatter noise. Can you get a sound clip of yours so i can hear it? I've put a post up in the Forge section asking them if it's right.

I'll see if I can get anything for you to hear. I clicked it up a notch tighter and still getting the same nice blow-off sound, no chatter. Perhaps because I have the valve sitting right on the boost pipe helps?
i want one i want one, but i am confused with all this tunin stuff i didnt do any of that with my 007p, i can just hear mine with the windows shut, but want it louder, can someone explain this tunin stuff to me please
All it is is adjusting the spring tension, it's not hard but i'm having a bit of trouble with mine.
yeah so i have read, lol send it back perhaps that one has somethin wrong with it, so do u put it on then start the car if it doesnt rattle turn the car off and do 2 full turns?
i put mine on today, sounds gorgeous. Quite loud and i fitted it the same way as in the picture in the instructions.
I got no rattle when i fitted it but when i turned it two full turns clockwise i had a drop in boost, down to about 6-7psi (LC), so i turned it back anti clockwise til it couldnt no more as it says in instructions when fitting, and it seems to be at about 8psi
on idle sitting above 20InHg is this right? its running ok, no warning lights, no faults on VAG-Com, just not up to 9-10psi as it was on my 007P
I still think its a lot nicer and reasonably loud! VERY IMPRESSED
P.S i didnt turn it two full turns after fitting will this cause any problems? I didnt turn it cos of the loss of boost

ya maf is in ok, iv put the air box back on today and the light have gone off so it must be the bmc.
it dont seem to be that loud. only when u have the bonnet up i hear it loud. i havent had any1 standing there as i go past to ask so dont know if its loud or not.
