You can just screw the S2000 aerial in, but it does leave a bit of a lip. I'm assuming yours is a nice tidy job? :)

ahh im not the only one, as mine had a lip, was worried i had the wrong one, but it looks ok now i think now that i have got used to it, much better than the standard arial IMO

That explains it then! I had an image of holes on the roof, duct tape holding things in place and a bent aerial somehow lost in the middle of it all

Im telling you mate, you would not have got the ariel to fit, so less of the lip please !!!

calm down deer, was only a joke, just found it funny that you seemed to be gettin so worked up with putting and aerial on, :headhurt:
anyway get the pics up and lets see what all the fuss was about!

Whats the difference between the S2000 and the civic arial?

When fitting the civic arial I used a slight twisting action when pulling and I got mine off in less than a min. Its just a tiny ball on the end of the thread. Just watch that you dont put a dent in the roof as its pritty flexible. I held the base down when pulling/ twisting.

On fitting the new arial I though that the threaded part wasn't going to go far enough in to catch but push hard and it catches then just tighten. Fits and looks perfect.

yep ive just received my ebay aerial and the thread is much too short. The seller said that sometimes this is the case.

Im sending it back and he's going to replace it with one that goes straight on!!
