How small wheels can i fit om my cupra?

Hi!

I`m from sweden, and in sweden the cupra model hasn`t been on the market for so long, so there are not much feedback to get att swedish forums for the cupra.

I have ordered one here in sweden and I´m wondering what size of winter rims I can fit on it when the snow arrives.
There are 18" as standard and the brake discs are 345 mm.
Bur can I fit 17" wheels on it?
I can`t seem to find any information about it here in sweden.
Not even the dealership.

It's very doubtful that 17"s will fit due to the sheer size of the front calipers, I'm pretty sure that they'll clip the rim....

thanks for your time, I`m most aware of the size of the discs and calipers.
I`m just not used to owning cars that requires 18" rims to fit the brakes

Is there anyone else that can tell med for sure its the case?
