As the name states...they were fine to begin with but have just realised that there flickering quite bad.

Only had them about 3 weeks. i brought them along with some for the interior which are fine. any clues guys and gals?

Someone mentioned recently (to do with HID flickering) that it was the power fluctuations caused by faulty Rad fans (running all the time or something)...

Related?

I would put a multimeter on the supply you have used and see what is happening to the voltage...

i got some leds in my interior light.. one of the ones in the bak which is a single LED started flickering after they had bin in about 6months.. luckily i had ordered a spare 1 when i bought them.. so i changed it and its bin ok since..

Heat damage to the LED power circut causes them to flicker.... bin them and get new ones :)

Remember that they take the same heat as the glass headlights bulbs, but LED's are plastic.

Got mine A few days ago! working gr8! you need 39mm For the number Plate. i got the 6 leds ones. they are so bright you can see the light on the floor. if you dont want it so bright you can get a 39mm 4 leds.
for the main console inside get a 42mm. i ordered a 39 and it was too small :(

binned! haha, does anybody know how to get the bulbs out of the rear lights inside, the ones with the alarm section in them? and what bulbs they are?

ive changed mine for blue 1's using these from here
http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/single-blue-10000-with-resistor-attached-p-750.html

there not an exact fit..takes abit of playing around to get them in..and once there in they look good

you need to carefully prise the whole unit out of the head lining using a flat bladed screw driver its a pretty tight fit..it comes out one end first!..then undo the small bulb holder in the printed circuit board by turning it.. once its out you can remove the old bulbs

the LEDs hav a small resistor attached to one leg..to stop it snapping off..i used a glue gun to to put a small blob of glue around it.. ..i used a knife to score abit out of teh plastic bulb holder coz the leg of the LED is slightly thicker than the orginal bulb wire

i then fitted the LED so the glued bit sat in the bulb holder ..it sticks out abit more than the orginal bulb but its ok once it bak in.. bend the wires around the bulb holder like the orginal bulb was and try it bak in the unit before refiting

I have some posts about LEDs ( glovebox leds i think )

I have left an ebay link that sells very reliable leds. I sell hundreds here with no problem.

I have tried other Leds and they often die out fast.

OK guys! Problem...!
one of my number plate leds started flickering (only 2 week on the car)
luckily i had 1 spare. changed it and now the other on is flickering!
tried everything. every time i put one in, the other one starts flickering (tried 3 bulbs in all variations).
So the leds are not dead, but what is the problem?!?!?

:help::help::help:

have you tested the voltage while the engine is running.. incase teh alternator is on it way out and pushing too much voltage out and causing the leds to fail quickly.. other than that i dunno wat it could be
