Engine management light has come on!!!!

not a clue why it has just popped on before on my way into town.

got home looked under the bonnet cant see anything diffrent apart from the little motor that pushes water round the turbo isnt wirring away like usual.

is this the problem??

not only is it a pain in the arse but im going for my remap tomorrow at P-torque how unlucky is that!!!!!!

Mine did this with no physical problems that were apparent, turned out to be the coolant temp sensor..

where is that? can it be changed quickly??

rather than guessing which 1 of the bazillion fault codes it could be, why not just ask ptorque to scan it when you go for the remap.....

likelyhood is if theres no obvious problem then its probably something little and wont affect having a remap

becuase P-torque is 100 miles away. i dont wish to drive there then really something rather large is wrong and have to drive all the way back to be honest.

why on earth would u travel 200miles for a remap lol

if the aux coolant pump has stopped functioning after switch off then its more than likely to be that.

got it sorted, secondary air flow was the problem.pipe had perished so needs changing. was a bad connection for the turbo pump, stuck a new one an worked fine!
