it looks massive behind your bumper compared to your old Forge one
 
are you willing to produce a intercooler like this forge with inlet outlet on oposite side of the fmic??? would make alot on it imo!

na doubt it will fit! being the PD engine pipework setup and the pipes look quite thin! but thats sorta what im after may give them a ring in the new year to see what they can do for me

Says in the link pipe diameter is 60mm same as forge and MikeyH.If your talking about the thickness of the pipe used not got a clue mate. Just remembered that Allards do the same colours as forge.
 
sorry guys been real busy with new job ect... still waiting on a confirmed price. Just want to say this thread wasn't to say the forge fmic was a bad fmic it was fine when i was running 176bhp and the intake temps were fine but when i went big turbo it just couldn't keep up. I think rash would prob benefit from this as i would imagine your car is capable of making pretty high intake temps!! will have to speak to jabba see if they want to make one for the 1.8t's will deffinatly put pic of engine bay up tomorrow, if my bro is about i may even take the bumper off and have a proper look at it and of course pics will follow :D
 
i neer feellike i get heatsoak performs the same pretty much all weather :shrug: just im thinking of maybe doing internals and pushing more :cheeky: sen some cheap new internals for sale just waiting for a fitted quote ;)
 
sorry guys, its this call of duty wrecking my life!! i get home and it calls me then i don't get off untill 2am when my mrs is moaning that its keeping her up haha i am going to take the bumper off tomorrow hopefully so will get some proper pics up,

Jabba have asked me if i think many people would be intrested in buying one of these?? i said i wouldn't see why not depending on price, think it would prob be about £700ish but they want my car back so they can copy all the pipework up, pm me if you would be intrested in one...

I'd presume that price is including all the custom pipe work which is quite often almost as expensive as the IC.

I very much doudt it does. I bet you will not get any change from £1000 from this set up which i still say is not needed for a 230 bhp diesel car as the Forge and Allard FMIC has always been OK with every other hybrid conversion running Mikey H`s power plus more. If you want a big FMIC just get the Seat sport PD160 FMIC with Allard or Forge alloy pipework. If you wanted to prove it was the forge FMIC causing your problems you should have changed that and not let them remap the car again as you haven`t proved who was right by doing both at the same time.
