You **** yourself every time the cars low on fuel or the temp drops below 4.0Deg!

Exactly!!

My minor nuances are:
Passengers trying to rip the door handle off to get out.
Climate control blasting your face off because you closed the window(s).
Crap suspension making noises - especially when its wet.
Really crap gearbox often not going into 1st gear at junctions/TL's.

Actually, whats most annoying about the beep is the fact that the car isn't actually low on fuel as such as i've made it to work and home again (Eastbourne to Lewes) and then into town before needing to refuel.

AS for the annoying beeps my Dads Corsa beeps everytime he puts the handbrake on (even at junctions) - its really annoying.

Despite that I LOVE MY IBIZA! :D

Wingmirrors which fail to fold (manually) any more due to corrosion of the alloy castings.

Falures of ******* expensive things like dashboards (fuel gauge/temp readout) requiring not only a new dash, but reprogramming of all the keys making what is a simple DIY job, a dealer (or vag-com) fix.

road noise
broken fingers doin bulbs
passenger door rattles
back breaking
HORN

we all say all these bad things but we do just luv em!

replaced mine for an audi low tone horn cost £5. Have never used it yet though, think the fear will always be with me, that the horn will somehow have turned gay and show me up lol

When you put your foot down in 1st, 2nd gear and sometimes even 3rd on a damp day and wheels spin. for ages then you and your car realise that its got traction control - can be fun, saves you pressing the button i suppose!
also before anyones asks, i do mean it does it when traction control is switched on.

When you get charged an extra £13 for the handbrake to be adjusted and £25 for brake fluid on the 30k/three year service.

Then you have to rebook it for them to re-grease the rear trailing arm bushes (it's water soluble from the factory), which, no doubt, will be charged too.

The cost of servicing is my biggest gripe of all.

When ya air con pump packs up and ya abs light stays on.Or when ya drop the clip of the bk of ya head light and it gets stuck on the aux belt and ya cant get ya hands down to try and get it .

You know you have a MK4 when you to change the gay horn on the Cupra, you spend an hour trying to unclip the centre grille only to realise its a bumper off job.

...your new stereo won't fit in the dash as SEAT won't give you enough room for the wires.

I didnt know you had to take off the bumper to get the centre grille off! :( looks like mine is staying standard then!

you dont! well i didnt when i took it off my 1.2, just remove the expandin rivets and gibe it a tug......

when you open the doors it doenst stop in stages and you nearly prang the car next to you!

By far the most annoying thing about the MK4, WTF is up with the doors on the 3dr, you have to clamber out of the car holding the door and trying not to fall over.
