When you get charged an extra £13 for the handbrake to be adjusted and £25 for brake fluid on the 30k/three year service.

Then you have to rebook it for them to re-grease the rear trailing arm bushes (it's water soluble from the factory), which, no doubt, will be charged too.

The cost of servicing is my biggest gripe of all.

The VW garage beside me has quoted me £140 for my 20,000 mile service. The Seat dealer quoted me £260 - 270 for the same service.

...your new stereo won't fit in the dash as SEAT won't give you enough room for the wires.

I'm amazed to report that this was done under warranty! The Mrs hasn't complained that the grinding noises persist, so it must've done the trick.

When you go to the dealers telling them that the wind noise is louder than the stereo, the windows rattle above 50mph, you have a knocking when going over speed bumps, your rear brake discs are warped because your car judders and squeals unevenly when breaking (and has done since day one) you mention th eloud engine rattle as if something i reverbing against the bulk head, the fan on your climate control rattles at low speed sometimes, your turbo spins up then starts squealing ....... they have your car for 3 days......

Sorry mate cant find anything wrong with it we have reset your ecu see if that helps...

hahaha that is so true! ive only had the car a couple of weeks and the things i noticed were this annoyingly loud BEEEP! and also the interior rattles SO much and the suspension is too hard and the seats are too hard!

when they come up behind you and you know they are thinking oh a seat ibiza il eat that with my 1.1saxo so you let them slowly move to overtake you but as they get along side just speed up ever so slightly so they cant get round and have to pull back in

then you drive at 20 below the speedlimit while ever they are behind you lol!
