i thought tweeters were made to go as close as ear level as possible??

Dose your head unit have a centre channel? A lot of the audio staging comes from tweeters and putting a pair in the middle on the L&R channels will make it hard to get the balance right. You could put a pair of Voltage and Amperage gauges in to show what your audio system is pulling.

to be honest id of left the cubby hole thing in there, i got a single din head unit in mine with the old fasioned ipod connection so a big box connected to it, then i got a huge blue box for my parrot system behind there, then i have all the rca's for my amp running behind aswell, and i managed to get it all in without cutting anything,

and to be honest in my old mk4 that i had i had all of that and a motorized flip out screen above the head unit with a dvd player in the glove box,

theres plenty of room in the ibiza dash you just gota go at it with alot of logic and have patients in doing it, took me and a collegue 7 hours 2 get mine done but that was with wiring up the amp, subs etc

it does look pretty tacky if you ask me, i dont think it would look quite as bad if the HU was at the top but that thing could definatley do with colour coding
