You not getting the power down and not being able to "slide into corners" is because the chassis is overwhelmed, not because of the tires.

Im currently still running the original Pirelli P7000's, sounds like these Goodyear Eagle F1 seem to be a good buy may have alook at them when the time comes next year,
How much roughly do i expect to pay for these?

Vredestien sessenta 215/40/17 ! huge wet grip great steering stunning feed back and they even snot up like a 888 on the track with great dry grip. High rolling resistance reduces fuel consumption but well worth it. Better than eagle f1 by a mile and better than t1r by half a mile!
