hi, anybody know where i can get an 02 cupra manual? ..am having real problems..>Tamsyn

hi, the manual is for the general up keep of my car-brakes, tracking lights etc... crazy when you are trying to find out why your tracking light is statying on constantly,. could do with a manual like. But thankyou for your suggestions. Tamsyn

sorry i meant the TCS light. Cannot find a haynes manual for it anywhere.

I use the ibiza/cordoba haynes manual for general pieces. It is mainly 1.4 and 1.9 diesel based but has references to ABF engine on most areas (locations and differences). It is listed as covering all the ibiza engines in the front, just not very well.

As for 02 cupra, dont do a haynes that ive seen...yet

use the haynes, majority of it is similar to an 8v as the cams are joined by a chain at the back which has marks on cam to line em up anyway

give the cam sprocket a paint mark on outside - they are pegged both sides for timing with/without cover on and made me jump at first remembering which way round it went - lol

TCS sensor, without looking I can tell you what it will say for that one, along the lines of 'take it to a specialist garage with fault diagnostic equipment'

Haynes are rubbish for anything fault code related, they seem to ignore that you can buy cheap readers making it a diy possible job

Can I remove the sump of my Seat GTI Cupra 1998 model (16 valve) without taking the engine or the gearbox out? It looks like I can get to every screw except for 3 which are hidden behind what appears to be a support bracket for the gearbox. Has anybody attempted this before?
