New Custom Dials

Well after wasting a few quid on those e-bay cheapo dials I decided to get a custom set properly made up by Skewer for my 2001 V5 Toledo which had standard black dials.
The night shots are a bit more difficult to show them up at their best and I had to play about with contrast and saturation to get the photos look more realistic. I am well pleased with the results though:-

Cheers guys, I got them from a guy called Mook who has a graphics company that specialise in these products. He had not done any Leon/Toledo versions before so this was a first run and took about 4 months to complete. However he did say if there was enough interest he would do a group buy for forum members. Not sure I'm allowed to do a direct link to his site but just google skewer dials.

That looks great! May I ask how much you paid for them? :)

£64, however that was a discount price because I supplied the first template and worked with the guy to iron out any problems. The normal retail price for these custom dials would be about £95. A group buy would be about £80 a set if 5 or more people applied.

If you count that the Dealers will sell you the Seat Sport ones for just about the same price, it sounds like a very good deal to me.

Did they install them for you or did you have to do it yourself?

Yes there's alot of work goes into creating these so although it sounds like a lot of money for just dials the quality is very good and you get them as you want. I fitted them myself the only tricky part is the needles off and on back in the correct position, other than that it's a 10 minute job. ;)

Thanks!

No more plans really, I think the car is pretty well sorted in terms of modifications.
The exterior mods were done by the previous owner and I liked it because it still has an oem look, almost like what a Toledo Cupra of that year may have looked like if SEAT had made one. The interior mods are just to spice up the insides a bit as it was a bit too bland for my liking. Other than that the car still drives like a dream so I think I'll leave it well alone for now unless anyone comes up with a good suggestion :D
