small update,

haven't really done much with it over the last few weeks, well months to be honest. Buidling up a collection of bits and bobs that will need fitting once it goes off the road :)

i have removed the orange from the rear lights though, and fitted with some nice silver tec bulbs :D

To be fitted:

new lower wishbones, with stock from bushes, and VT rear bushes.
Rear beam VT bushes
Cage
front lower strut brace
JBS cast manifold (when they have them in)

still to buy:

Diff
clutch and single mass flywheel
seats
harnesses
steering wheel and boss
Yoko a048's ;)
some nice new alloys for the yoko's, not sure what yet though
sub-frame bushes
power steering bushes
pull the arches out to allow for the slighty larger tyres
carbon bonnet
oil cooler

cheers mat, hopefully will be all done ready for next year :D

Sounds awesome Ian :) Also making me increasingly tempted to rip my interior out lol

Who have you got in mind for the cage?

haha, you know it makes sense robbie,

i have the cage already, just need to get it fitted. there are a few places near me who would do it :)

Nice tyre choice Ian, they are beasty looking, just bought me some Yoko Parada Spec 2's :D

Get some Schroth harnesses mate, just bought some myself waiting on the delivery! They do look pretty sweet :D

The inside of car's been rubbed down and cage points buffed back. The cage ready to be welded just need to borrow a MIG welder then get the old boy to dust off his welding hood, apparently he used to be good.....:help: As soon as the cage is in the whole of the inside is getting painted, seats refitted, harnesses in and all the water injection stuff can all be mounted permanently.

I've got all the bushes together just need to find the motivation for that lot.
I'm waiting to hear back from Jabbasport to see if they can help me with the fancy bolts that are now supplied with the Peloquin diffs as i bought mine 4 years ago and it's still not fitted. Maybe just as well seeing the bolts they supplied were sh*t.

There's just too many jobs!! Saving the big one until last - gearbox rebuild, diff, clutch flywheel:lol: I've got all the bits just need to get going.

Toyos arent to good on the hard cornering for me mate, the sidewall doesn't really do what i want it to do and just ends up in a big pile of mush, its just a tad too soft. Its not overly suited to the integra IMO, on the ibiza it was an awesome tyre, but these days i need something thats sticky as funch when there warm and these do the job nicely!

Noob! Na i have reasoning behind not getting T1Rs :D

t1-r's are still crap on a cupra! f1's for the win on the road

F1s now there an awesome trye :D.....but the T1Rs still do the job, not as well but there not the worst tyre out there but no where near the best. I also found that they didn't last too long....unless that was just my driving!
