Big update! :D

Enjoy,

Yesterday myself and my mate George travelled to Milton Keynes to meet up with fellow Seat Cupra Net forum member Nick/Skorchio lol!

Spotted a nice Drift specced Silvia on the M42, we guessed it was heading for silverstone?

Thankfully after the crap weather we've had recently, it seemed to had turned out well for us.

Arrived in at Nick's just outside Milton Keynes at about 8am. Ready to fit the KW V2's Coilovers, Forge Front Mount I/C and Forge short shifters.
Time to start fitting the Forge FMIC:

Finally managed to get the front bumper off after what felt like hundreds of screws, clips, nuts and bolts:

Aaron/Probee turned up to see Nick, I fell in love with his car. It's sooo clean and every mod compliments the car perfectly, it also sounded AMAZING:

Tried fitting a cold air intake pipe:

Time for putting the front bumper back on, such a nice feeling putting fasteners back on the car and not taking them off:

Managed to get the front standard suspension off with help and advice from nick, every nut was corroded on solid, we were so lucky not to round any off or snap any! Would have been a complete nightmare having to drill them out and then get hold of new ones!
KW V2 front coilovers on:

After a barbeque with Nicks family (thanks again Nick), it was time to start on the rear suspension... in the dark!

After getting to Nicks at 8am, we finished at 11pm. It did take us a long time, myself and my mate George really didn't have a clue what we were doing, but everything went well and it felt nice that we took our time, we knew everything was done perfectly and also it felt good to have done the mods ourselves rather than paying a garage or specialist.
We set the coilovers so the car was a little lower than Nicks total guesswork really but the stance ended up to be almost perfect:

A few before pictures of the stance:

handling is awesome, but the car was full of tools and standard suspension so couldnt realy give it a proper test, but the ride is imense for coilovers,i guess thats what you get for buying KW's
Next mods are Oil Catch Tank, Green Cotten Dynatwist induction kit, Blueflame turbo back exhaust and Revo Stage 2 remap.

Make sure you measure the drop from the inner arch lip to the centre of the hub.
Do this first then get your 4 wheel alignment done to fully appreciate the handling.
I bought 2nd hand coilovers too, saved a bucket of cash and got top spec coilovers

Looking good mate and im glad you happy!!! My car is awsome now, i can go over speed bumps really fast :)

Just got to get the seats done and im thinking about putting the wheels up for a swap!

was good to meet you matey, sorry i couldnt hang around for long.

you must be loving your car right now :)

Yeh nice meeting you mate,im so happy with how the car handles, just want to drop the front a little more, and i will get the wheels aligned, Then its save save save for the Blueflame,Green Cotton Twister, and Revo stage 2 remap! :D cant wait! :p

what you gonna do to the car next? oh and are your mirrors standard
