Didnt get spare done mate no, not that bothered, i leave it out anyway! Touch wood:p

The colour on the wheels is really nice isnt it, like a silver tint to the spokes in the sun, dont look half as good when dirty:(

Hi Paul - Hybrid upgrade on mine: 360 bearing, stronger actuator, bigger turbine shaft & wheel. The tubby was £700 incl VAT on exchang of old one.
Not sure exactly which actuator is on it but assuming not a forge one. I did not ask at the time.
Fitting was not included - I sorted that.
Ask for John 01332 202100 for a price on yours.

sounds like a good price.
mine made 265bhp last time on the rr at Stealth Racing - it sounds low but its not about the number to some extent.
car holds boost very well, there is a lot more grunt at the top than before. hope this helps.

Cheers Jon :)

Bondy - cheers! Pic of 1/4 mile in action:

Golf was quicker by 3/10ths of second!

Shaunyboy - Springs are:

Spax SSX Springs S034033

Got them from Deutsche Performance, they trade on web as europerformance.co.uk

Drop is listed as 35mm but on my LCR the drop was 25mm.
For me its just what I was looking for, the change is very subtle but against a standard LCR quite obvious.

:D

Filbro
Hows the handling with the Spax SSX Springs, is it better than oem?
Looks like a nice drop.

This is the perfect drop in my opinion Filbro. Do the lower srings cure any of the nose dive the car has? Obviously i don't want to go lower and still have the soft suspension diving into the ground. Alot of people say they get away with being lower with coilies because the car is more stable. Is this the case with the srings or would you need to upgrade the shock's too? Thanks buddy;)

I've never had coilies on any of my previous cars or this one so don't know what they are like.
I have always used lowering springs without changing the factory dampers (they have always been in good order of course). Some people will argue you must change dampers and springs at same time, fair game, but I have never had any issues

Bonus of springs only route is its cheap and if you don't go too far with the drop the ride is still good. The ride is harder over oem but does not 'crash' over bumps in road etc.

All in, the SSX springs do improve the handling, no question, body roll is much reduced, cornering does feel more planted. As for 'nose dive' yes there is some improvement. :D

Cheers for the comments :)

Great looking motor buddy - very nice.

Want to get my wheels done too (probably black) when funds allow. Loving the roof too - looks great ma man! :)
