that bonnet is really growing on me, infact i love it. only thing i dislike is the rear/boot, i'd keep it as oem as possible. the wheels go pretty well with it too. shame you had to sell it buddy. did it go on ebay the once? im sure i saw it on there a few months back

Well it is pretty oem as it is using seat sport parts, the exhaust is the custom part but i believe the centre exit makes it look like a mini leon k1 :)

I like the wheels but i am toying with the idea of changing them to something from the vag fold, golf gti's, audi rs4's not sure yet, I am going to try and sort something out on photoshop so have a play.

Thats alright dude, good to know :)

Yeah it is rather surprising, some blokes in a white van looked a little miffed when they tried to undertake me on my lunch break was having none of it and gave them a dose of the old black stuff lol

Yeah think the rozzers were just on a power trip to be honest I have checked it out and the lights are fine.

Well I have got a nice shiney Kenwood stereo sitting in my bedroom waiting to be installed picked up a nice one with fully ipod control and importantly parrot bluetooth built in, the missus likes it as she has got a remote to play with instead of stretching over her bump to change the track.

Looking at some focal 6x9's and the stealth shelf to sort out the tunes.

Then if funds allow I got a few ideas of things to do, change the pedals, possibly the alloys got to put a bit of my style on the little beast... :funk:

Yeah those white vans really get too close, had one this morning rally over the roundabout to sit up my arse, decided to leave him in a cloud of soot (was a particularly big cloud as it has'nt had a boot for a while :p)

Sounds good fella :D Post some pictures up when its in :)

Ohh nice, you building your own stealth shelf? You should check out ibiza_tdi_130's stealth shelf on his arosa [B)]

Yeah, if we were going to keep it, Id have been looking to change them to vRS/Cupra R wheels theres a few people with those on the fourm. Think the vRS wheels are 16" so wouldnt compromise the ride.

Cool so what you driving now then?

Will do, booked in for 30th not sure on building my own stealth shelf, as Im not sure I would get the finish as good a bought one, seen a few online just not sure what one is the best to go for.

Been looking at wheels from the vag group, today at the lights I was checking the golf gti ones and wondering what they would look like, seen i can get replicas in the right size for the car so

Driving my dads Toledo at the moment, been looking out for my own but I dont have a job and im at college.

GTi wheels would be nice, are they the ones off the latest golf or the older one? You should try photoshopping them or get someone in the photoshop section to try them for you :)

I was considering those GTI wheels because they're gorgeous, seeing them on an ibiza though has put me off, they suit the golf better tbh

Iv been told by aimez that you've had it on the rollers dave, do you have a graph to post up?

Ah news Travels fast

test 1 posted 111.2Bhp & 204.0lb/ft
test 2 posted 107.1Bhp & 186.2lb/ft

Had them give me any ideas on the smoke and AMD reckon the something is not quite right with the remap on it (who did it by the way) and gave me a deal price to redo it and sort out the smokey probs

Other than that got some good responses to the car.

Have you got some more details on the mods its got ie the brand of suspension its got, I have managed to track down the wheels to being team dynamics, my insurance company need a list to cover like for like on the mods.

The problem I have now is that I fancy a bit more power so going to get the induction sorted out and then think about what else I can do for a little bit more juice.

Having seen the pics of the golf wheels on an ibiza I am with you scott no way do they look right, I got some good ideas off some of the cars yesterday but I think I may see what funds I can get together and do some plotting :cartman:
