Sorry if this is a daft question....

Going to buy a boost gauge and attatch it somewhere along my n249 bypass. I have seen folk put them in different areas some at the Dv and some at the FPR.

Where is best to 'T' it in to the bypass for most accurate reading. Dv, FPR or Manifold?

Cheers

I dont think i know where the throttle body is on my car, not really that mechanically orientated. :(

I assume i can still take it from the DV, FPR or Manifold though?

Looks neater into the FPR anyway :)

Hi, Just fitted my Autogauge boost gauge today and I've 'teed' off as per this pic but my car is an LCR. Is the gauge suppose to drop all the way to the bottom of the vacuum pressure when you start the engine. I've not had a boost gauge before so not sure if this is normal. The gauge does rise and drop when you blip the throttle.

Mine stays on 20 most the time but sometimes it goes quite a bit below 20 on vacuum.

What should a standard AMK spike to and hold then under boost.
