definately mate - they are the only garage I trust with any of my cars now - it's worth the 100mile round trip for sure!

where you based roughly then?

I used to be in Clanfield/Horndean, so only 9miles, but now in Basingstoke. I've actually just looked and it's only 80mile round trip, so slight exaggeration hehe

gotcha - I used to work in Waitrose Petersfield (many years ago) at weekends, and my gran used to live there - in fact my first year of life was Liss.... so I know the area well :)

Cool! Some great roads around here too... the A272 either way from here or the road up through Sheet, "Little Switzerland." Moved doewn here 3 years ago. (London all my youth, then Guildford for a year, Liphook for 2 years and now Petersfield...)

Well after a long wait, the car has finally had all of the suspension fitted :)

I've not had it set too low - I'm very happy with the stance as it is now, and the car has had a decent service too (thanks to JKM!) so all should be good for a while.

That said, I'm going to need new discs and pads at the front ASAP, as the pads are falling apart, and the disks are worn on the inside edge. I've got my MOT in Jan, so I'm hoping to get the brakes done at the same time.

On a bad note, I've got the boost issues back again - had hoses all checked and no leaks found - when I get some £££ I'm going to need to investigate further, I think I may well need to look at the remap next :(

Anyway - here's a few lil piccies I decided to take on a journey up to Oxford to see my gf this weekend. Enjoy!

I've got the 15mm spacers for the rear, and front strut brace, but neither are fitted yet.

Rear spacers haven't been fitted because I have the wrong type of bolts which came with them, so I'm a bit gutted there.

Front strut brace will go on soon enough - but I'm a little concerned about the fouling on the engine cover, and not really in the mood to cut the cover up (yet) hehe

Rear spacers will make a massive difference once they're on! I just took my engine cover off when it was rubbing. Tried trimming it but just left it off!

That's exactly what I DON'T want to do - engine bay looks so messy without the cover. I much prefer it on.

Handling is a definate improvement over OEM suspension, not as harsh with our cr*ppy roads over here... That said, I've always found the ibiza cupra to be quite a bumpy ride, but I suppose that's to be expected with a sporty car. Then again, I am comparing to cars virtually double the cost!

I'm happy with the suspension - the rear ARB has helped - and looking forward to getting the spacers/strut brace on.

Then the only performance to-do's left on the car would be a full exhaust system, TIP, as well as sorting out my boost problem.

Thanks Damo

I've just had laser alignment done - all is looking pretty good really (considering it's been lowered) - front had some toe-out, but this has been adjusted.

Hopefully look at fitting the strut brace this week, but I need to look at my engine cover mount/clips, as it looks like something is broken/incorrect (highlighted in the service) - looks like there is a bolt/bolt-hole missing on the rear cover grommet... hard to explain at the moment.

thanks mate - it's basically the middle engine cover support I need to see - there are 2 supports at the front, rubber grommets and pins, and there is a 3rd one, on the RHS of the engine. I've got a grommet and a support, but looks like there should be a pin or something as well? I don't have a mount for it though..
