yh, ive been trying to look for some cheap and cheerful coilovers but cant seem to find any..might think about some lowering springs?

The "115mph" is impossible in a 1.4. The speedo may say that but no way are you travelling at that speed. I find the faster you go the more the speedo reading is out (when compared to a digital speedo). 98mph is the top speed.
i find it incredibly hard to believe that a 1.4 60bhp car can keep up with a 1.6 90/100 bhp car that is also 200kg lighter. its a load of bullsh*t cos mine only just keeps with a vtr

There is no way you kept up with a vtr.

hmm.. down hill 1.4 can do 102mph i think (according to sat nav) which i believe is more accurate than the speedo which'd show 110/115...
I think the 1.4 could just about keep up with a 1.0l micra..
