13 days it has taken to get these from Chesterfield!
I got mine really quickly! They must be snowed under at the moment....
They're brilliant breaks and whine when you use them hard.
All I will say is, the centre spigot bits do go rusty if you use a wheel acid/cleaner. So it might be worth painting them up before putting them on?
Really won't the paint just come/wear off? Hmm maybe some black Hammerite then you think? I don't use acidic wheel cleaner use Bilberry wheel cleaner not acidic but even still water will make them rusty obviously.
Not if it's a metal paint it shouldnt. I used a black engine lacquer on mine (which is ok for high temperatures). Basically as soon as mine got wet, they started to rust.

Never posted these I don't think, ages ago I sprayed my engine & battery cover to tidy the engine bay.
Last September I bought a plug and play Passat W8 light been fitted all that time but I have only just got round to wiring it to the headlight dimmer switch so you get the jazzy red LEDs! Will take a pic later of them when its dark.

top half of the airbox needs doing now to finish it off as it looks dull in comparison to the battery cover and engine cover,the painted bits do look good though i think.
Yeh only the dimmer part the rest was done by Steve (off here) I bought it off him so all I had to do was solder 2 wires. The one coming off the headlight switch was a bitch no room to work in plus I am rubbish at soldering never do it!

Just grey plastic primer then gloss black and lacquer, all Halfords cheap stuff. I sprayed my ex wing mirrors that was my first time, they looked crap the paint dripped lol!
I think aimez covers would look better in real life just her photo is lacking in light to be honest. Your one is taken on a much brighter day/more exposure maybe. To be fair for someone who's not done much spraying it's a great job.
lol thanks but know yours were done by a pro so that's cheating Adam! They have got about 5 coats of laquer on! I just wiped them over with a cloth before I took that pic so they could look better tbh.
