Got up today in the mood to do a few things...so ripped out my airbox to find the hose that had come loose causing my rear washer jet to stop working...fixed!

Whilst I was at it I cleaned my air filter, which needed doing after everything else got serviced.

Fancy that in your rear view? :p lol
Then, I went to task fitting the Cupra Spoiler:

Looks mint mate! Easy to swap over?

Ahhh is that how you get to the rear washer feed? Is it under where all the airbox and that is? Just on the old corsa i had a washer jet that fired water out the front :D meant to do it with the white one but could never be bothered looking all over for the hose!

Yeah mate, the spoiler fit spot on. Don't know why ppl say you need a new brake light, mine went in no problems. Just needed longer screws to screw in the spoiler.

The hoses are under the airbox. It's a bit o a pain getting to in the 20VT's cos there's just no room to work but it's easy enough once the airbox is out of the way.

sounds good, might be a mod for me to do soon lol did you get longer screws with the spoiler or just had to find some somewhere?

You shoulda took it for a quick spin down the road whilst the box was off to see what a dirty cone would sound like!

dont think theres much more you can do with yours now, seems about perfect. Best red one easy!

Cheers mate :)

Me and my dad had a look through his collection of odd screws and chopped a few to the right size.

I think it's manifold and brakes for me now, probably will just go for some TT 312mm ones at some points.

mine was fairly easy to diagnose, when i tried to use the washer on the rear it sprayed up under the bonnet! After looking today it had popped a connection.

 You've already got the spolier on your Cupra Scott!

 Good idea. Very good mod, especially with your extra power!

I meant about messing about with the rear washer jet, Mike. blonde but not quite that daft :p

Them tt brakes are more than good enough, mine worked well on the white one with the grooved and drilled disks and the redstuff pads.

Seatsport ones are awesome but too much of a faf getting under 99% of wheels :(
